“Healing begins where the wound was made”

-Alice Walker

The therapeutic approach to yoga begins where you are and through a series of progressive practices we work together to increase the body's innate healing potential. These approaches are not meant to stand alone from medical care but to work in tandem. The practices often impact the nervous system which improves the body’s ability to self-regulate. The classical approach to yoga utilizes the mind body connection with practices around movement and breathing techniques as well as meditation and self-inquiry to impact the body’s resilience.

Meet Dawn Valentine

A little about me, I am an honest to goodness bibliophile who loves a good story, fantastic tea, and my yoga mat.

I sincerely believe the more we understand the interconnection of body, mind, and spirit, the easier it is to create a harmonious existence and a path to living your life in a more rewarding and fulfilling way. No matter what has happened in the past, today, you can wipe the surface clean, begin again, and rewrite your own story. I hope to meet you on the mat one day. Until then may you find the peace you seek.
